Bushman's Hide Out
The Bushman’s hide out is hidden away on
the outskirts of Paje Village which has one
of the most idealistic beaches on Zanzibar.
The Bushman’s hide out is a private and
quite place situated less than 10 minuets
walk from the beach and village centre. The
villa is built on the ancient coral reef and
is surrounded by a natural African paradise
garden, full of wild flowers, game, such as
Dik-Dik and Bush pigs, many birds and
butterflies species.
The owner is an Englishman who has worked
for 20 years in the African bush this is
well reflected throughout the villa, a mix
of Livingstone, Zanzibari with raw African
flavors all contributing to this unique
atmosphere
The villa is all on one floor elevated above
the bush and garden with a very large front
terrace with dining table and chairs,
veranda walk ways leading around the
building back to more private terraces
outside each bedroom. The whole building
including the terraces and veranda s is
covered by traditional Makuti (coconut)
leave roof.
The Teak Bedroom with bathroom
 This
bedroom can be accessed direct via the
veranda from the garden or from the living
room. A traditional queen sized Zanzibar
four poster double bed with mosquito net is
the centerpiece of the room. Traditional
mangrove pole ceilings with a ceiling fan. a
safe and air-conditioning. A spacious
romantic en-suite bathroom in terrazzo with
a large (2 person) sunken bath and well
pressured hot & cold shower, 2 washbasins
and WC.
The Coconut Bedroom with bathroom
This bedroom can also be accessed via the
veranda from the garden or from the living
room. There is a king sized Zanzibari
four-poster double bed with mosquito net, a
safe and air-conditioning. This is room is
also complimented with an en-bathroom with
large a (2 person) sunken bath carved in
terrazzo, a well pressured hot & cold
showers, a washbasin and WC.
Both bedrooms are stylishly decorated with a
chair, full-length wardrobes, cloths rack
and bedside tales with lamps and night
reading lamps in the beds.
General information
The room is fully furnished with a large
dinning table and 6 chairs, burro 2 large
sofas, satellite TV, DVD, iPod docking
station and wireless internet.
