Villa description
The villa is built all on one level with a
very large veranda with dining table, chairs
and hammocks’. The villa and verandas are
elevated above the surrounding bush and
garden. Walkways around the building lead
back to more private terraces outside each
bedroom. The whole building including the
terraces and veranda is covered by
traditional Makuti (coconut leaf) roof.
Living in style and comfort
The main entrance is through a traditional
carved Zanzibari door leading into the very
large open living and dinning room. The room
is fully furnished with a large dinning
table and 6 chairs, large comfy sofas and
chairs, TV, DVD, Internet connection, games
and books At the end of the living is the
semi-open well-equipped modern kitchen and
stock room with large fridge/freezer and
electric hob.
From the lounge, you can reach
the adjoining bathrooms and bedrooms set one
on each side for perfect privacy. Both
bedrooms can also be direct via the verandas
and have private sit places with chairs and
tales outside each door.
The bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms
Both bedrooms are traditionally furnished
with queen sized Zanzibar double beds with
warm coloured linen mosquito nets,
Traditionally painted and carved Antique
Zanzibar wardrobes, Zanzibar boxes, mangrove
poles ceilings, terrazzo floors and teak
woodwork give the rooms a warm cosy feeling.
The rooms are fitted with split-level air
conditioning.
Both rooms have small adjoining children’s
rooms with a double bunk beds and large walk
in storage cupboards.
The Large bathrooms
are stylish and modern, clean and fresh with colourful terrazzo floors and large 2
person’s sunken baths, well pressured hot &
cold showers, 2 wash basins and toilets.
